Italian mills keep slashing scrap prices
Italian scrap prices are falling again this week as mills are reducing their prices further depending on grade.
Values for the lower qualities are declining each day and the price drop for shredded E40 is termed “a blood bath” by one source. Mills are managing to decrease scrap values below the levels of €400/tonne ($469) this month for lower grades.
