Italian merchant bar recovers
Italian domestic merchant bar prices are increasing by €10/tonne ($11/t) in producers’ asking prices compared to last month. The market however remains difficult and competitive, Kallanish learns from sources.
Domestic material is now being offered and sold at €60/t base ex-works, or €70/t delivered in the north of the country. Including €420/t average extras, transaction prices for domestic material are at €480/t ex-work…
