Italian merchant bars prices waver as sales dip
Italian merchant bar transaction prices were stable last week in a market that is considered to be stagnating and slow, trade sources tell Kallanish.
Demand for merchant bar remains patchy in a quiet market environment which began to becalm in September. Both September and October have not been satisfactory months in terms of sales volumes, distributors say.
