Italian merchant bar producers seek increases
Italian merchant bar asking prices are rebounding after losing €20/tonne ($24) compared to January as demand weakened since the beginning of the month.
Due to a lack of certain grades and uncompetitive import offers, producers are again asking for €260/tonne ($315) base ex-works and refusing to negotiate.
