Italian longs prices level out in sluggish market
Italian merchant bar prices are stable month-on-month but demand is stagnating and the market remains very competitive. Base prices for domestic merchant bar are now between €100-110/tonne ($113-124/t) ex-works, or €520-530/t ex-works in transactions, sources tell Kallanish.
