Semis drive Italian imports growth, exports fall
Italian steel imports from non-EU countries grew 5.1% year-on-year between January and August to 7.2 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from Italian steel producers’ association Federacciai. The highest volume of imports was seen in semi-finished steel products.
