Italian steel imports grow, exports fall in May
Italian steel imports from non-EU countries grew 9.7% year-on-year between January and May 2016, reaching 4.6 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from Italian steel producers’ association Federacciai. The highest volume of imports was seen in the flat steel segment.
