Italian scrap import prices increase, EU outlook uncertain
Prices of scrap imports into Italy from other European countries are seen increasing slightly in July. Import prices are signed towards to middle of each month, Kallanish learns from market sources.
This month new arisings E8 from France, Germany and Eastern European countries was agreed at between €480-500/tonne ($570-594) delivered and €490-510/t delivered for the higher E8 grade.
