Italian HRC prices fall again
Italian domestic hot rolled coil prices are losing €10/tonne ($10.9/t) in transactions compared to the beginning of October. This is in line with weakness in both national and international markets for flat products.
Service centres and agents who spoke to Kallanish say that domestic prices are now at €400/t base ex-works. As was happening last week, there is little demand because buyers are expecting further price reductions.
