Italian HRC market lull continues
The decline in Italian hot rolled coil prices has continued this week against the backdrop of a market lull, Kallanish notes.
End-users, re-rollers and service centres are implementing very few orders at low volumes on the local market. Italian coil derivative sales are also stalling, with sheet and welded tube prices reported to be softening each week.
