Italian HRC prices flatten as buyers wait

Italian domestic hot rolled coil prices remain steady compared to the beginning of the month. Prices have not managed to increase as much as producers would have liked to due to unreliable demand, Kallanish learns from market sources. Domestic producers’ asking prices remain stable at €450/tonne ($486/t) base ex-works or €460-465/t base delivered.
