Italian HRC prices decline on poor demand
Italian hot rolled coil prices are falling as transactions have returned to the pre-increase levels seen in May. This is due to a weak market, participants tell Kallanish.
Demand is virtually “... non existent” for cold rolled coil and hot dipped galvanized, one source reveals. Some demand is being registered for HRC but volumes are extremely low and activity downstream is very slow.
