Italian flats output falls again
Italian flat products output fell again in January, according to data released by local steelmakers' association Federacciai, monitored by Kallanish. Flats output growth was negative throughout almost all of 2018.
In January flats output fell by -9.3% year-on-year to 849,000 tonnes, while Italian longs output also decreased, by -5.1% y-o-y to 895,000t.
In 2018 flats output fell by -2% year-on-year to 11.1 million tonnes.…
