Italian end-July scrap contracts weaken €5
After losing €10/tonne ($11.2/t) on June, Italian domestic scrap prices are declining by a further €5/t ($5.5/t), as expected, market participants tell Kallanish. Mills are reducing their purchasing prices for end-July/beginning-of-August delivery. This is due to weak activity in domestic finished products markets.
