Italian crude steel production shrinks again in February
Italian crude steel production slightly improved on-year in February following the -5.3% decrease recorded in January. It was still down however by -2.1% year-on-year at 1.9 million tonnes in February, Kallanish learns from local steelmakers’ association Federacciai.
Total crude steel output in the first two months of the year reached 3.7mt, or -3.7% less compared to the same period in 2015.
