Italian crude steel output skyrockets in April
After ticking up in the first two months of the year and skyrocketing in March, crude steel output in Italy increased again significantly in April, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month crude production rose by a notable 78.9% year-on-year to 2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Output also hiked significantly in the first four months of the year, by 29.7% on-year to 8.3mt.
