Italian crude steel output rises
The output of crude steel by Italian mills has risen again in October after having fallen in September for the first time in 2018, according to the local steelmakers' association Federacciai.
In October crude steel production upticked by 1.1% year-on-year to 2.2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Over the first ten months of the year the country also registered growth of 2.7% y-o-y at 20.6mt, Federacciai says.
