Italian crude steel output plummets
Italian crude steel output fell significantly in June after a series of declines seen since the beginning of the year, with the exception of April, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month, crude steel production declined by 14.2% year-on-year to 1.8 million tonnes, and by 4% on-year over the first six months of 2022 to 12.2mt, Kallanish notes.
