Italian crude steel output rises again
Italian crude steel production grew again year-on-year to a 2017 peak in October. This comes after a 9% y-o-y increase in September and 0.7% in August according to data released by local steelmakers' association Federacciai, and monitored by Kallanish.
In October the country produced 2.275 million tonnes of crude steel, up 6.1% on-year. The previous output peak in 2017 was 2.257mt produced in March.
