Italian construction activity deteriorates after January growth
Italian construction output increased in January 2020 month-on-month, growing by 7.9%, according to a report by the country’s National Institute of Statistics (Istat) monitored by Kallanish.
From November 2019 to January 2020 construction output also upticked by 0.5% compared with the previous three-month period. The year-on-year calendar adjusted index for production in construction was up 8.4% in January, Istat says.
