Italian coil sales slow, prices flatten out
Italian domestic hot rolled coil transaction prices remain flat this week as the market is coming to a standstill due to the coronavirus outbreak in Italy, Kallanish learns from market sources.
Material is however still being delivered as the recent government decree does not stop transport of goods. This week’s HRC prices remain stable at €450/tonne ($505/t) base ex-works and €460/t base delivered.
