Poor demand for coil concerns Italian mills
Italian domestic hot rolled coil demand is picking up slowly although sales volumes have been extremely poor in May. Mills’ and service centres’ customers have not resumed buying as before and activity is significantly slow. Service centres are consuming their stocks while only some larger re-rollers are purchasing very small quantities, Kallanish learns from market participants.
