HRC shortages plague Italian buyers as prices soar
Italian hot rolled coil prices are increasing again in new contracts compared to last week, going through the level of €800/tonne ($945) base ex-works. Unsure about what price to apply in such a market, some producers are halting sales and have only allocated very small tonnages over recent weeks.
