Italian billet prices rise but market stagnates
The Italian billet market is quiet this week as sales volumes for long products have decreased in recent days. Market sources tell Kallanish that, unlike coil sales, activity for longs, semi-finished products and domestic scrap has come to a deadlock this week despite rising prices.
