Isdemir confirms blast furnace explosion, denies injuries
Turkish integrated steelmaker Isdemir has confirmed there was an explosion followed by a fire at one of its blast furnaces over last weekend. However, the firm denies Turkish press reports suggesting numerous workers were injured.
