Turkish scrap decouples from strong US, EU markets
Turkey’s scrap market is quite weak, with little buying appetite, unlike the strong US and EU markets. Although this is pressuring scrap prices, European and US suppliers seem unwilling to accept reductions due to the strength of their domestic markets. They are in fact targeting increases.
