Iron ore's recovery encounters resistance
Seaborne iron ore prices struggled between gains and losses on Tuesday. Iron ore prices have been pressured by production cuts at steel mills.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $0.03/tonne on Tuesday to $90.34/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $0.21/t lower at $101.11/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index lost $0.18/t to $76.95/dmt cfr.
