Iron ore surprises with mid-Spring Festival surge
The volatility of the seaborne iron ore market was illustrated perfectly on Tuesday. There occurred a rapid upwards shift in price, even though over half of the known steelmaking world was lazing on a largely metaphorical Chinese beach.
