Iron ore slumps as Covid spreads

Seaborne iron ore prices slipped on Monday as the Chinese steel market fell. The lifting of Covid restrictions in China has led to a surge in cases, affecting the resumption of economic activity. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index lost $4.74/t on Monday to $109.07/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao.
