Iron ore slows gains
Seaborne iron ore prices slowed down their gains on Thursday after policy support drove the market higher on Wednesday.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index gained $0.5/t and $0.44/t respectively on Thursday to $136.72/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $148.72/dmt cfr. The KORE 58% Fe index meanwhile increased by $0.71/t to $126.37/dmt cfr.
170,000 tonnes of BRBF Fines and 80,000t of Mac Fines were booked at $136.45/t and $132.7/t respectively…
