Iron ore slides as BCI cashes in
Seaborne iron ore prices slipped on Tuesday after the recent rally began to fade. BCI Minerals however says it cashed in on high prices in March.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index slipped $0.30/tonne to $95.08/dry metric tons cfr Qingdao. On the Dalian Commodity Exchange September iron ore settled down CNY 8/t at CNY 645.5/t ($96.26/t), while on the Singapore Exchange May 62% Fe futures settled down $1.75/t at $91.98/t.
