Iron ore upticks as Lake Giles furthers plans
Seaborne iron ore prices rebounded on Tuesday as sentiment recovered. MacArthur Minerals meanwhile is preparing its Lake Giles project.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $0.91/tonne to $107.54/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao. On the Dalian Commmodity Exchange September iron ore settled down $767.5/t ($111/t), while on the Singapore Exchange July 62% Fe futures settled up $3.90/t at $106.75/t.
