Iron ore remains firm with fewer arrivals
Seaborne iron ore prices remained firm on Wednesday as cold weather in north China hit iron ore arrivals this week.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index gained by $0.45/t and $0.42/t respectively to $140.95/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $152.22/dmt cfr. The KORE 58% Fe index, however, was $0.21/t lower at $130.11/dmt cfr.
