Iron ore rebounds on steel market improvement

Seaborne iron ore prices saw a rebound on Tuesday, following Monday’s plunge, with a resumption in steel market trading leading to expectations for a stronger iron ore market. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index rebounded by $2.68/t and $2.59/t respectively on Tuesday to $119.79/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $132.39/dmt cfr.
