Iron ore rebounds as Beijing meeting commences

Seaborne iron ore prices rebounded on Monday as the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China convened. However, the gains were tempered by the slowdown in GDP growth in the second quarter. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and KORE 65% Fe index rose respectively by $1.65/t and $1.63/t to $109.18/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $124.93/dmt cfr.
