Iron ore prices stand still

The seaborne iron ore market struggled on Thursday. The contradiction between high steel mill operating rates and low profit margins made the market trend unclear. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index declined by $0.39/t and $0.04/t respectively to $119.11/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $128.37/dmt cfr.
