Iron ore prices slip as steel does likewise
Seaborne iron ore prices slipped for the second consecutive day on Tuesday as weakening sentiment in the Chinese steel sector spilled over into raw materials. It was all not helped by the breakdown of the US-China trade talks and an escalation in the tit-for-tat tariff increases for a range of steel products.
