Iron ore prices extend gains
Seaborne iron ore prices rose steadily last week and the high level of pig iron output sent a positive signal for demand.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $0.22/t on Friday to $125.72/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index rose $0.15/t at $141.4/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index reached $0.33/t higher at $115.42/dmt cfr.
