Iron ore prices back over $100/t
Seaborne iron ore prices are back above $100/tonne again, with restocking demand before the Mid-Autumn Festival supporting steel mills' demand.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $4.23/tonne to $100.35/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $4.21/t higher at $112.28/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index was up $2.05/t to $84.76/dmt cfr. 170,000t of PB fines were sold at $100.43/dmt with a laycan between 5-14…
