Iron ore falls with Tangshan production cut
Spot seaborne iron ore prices fell sharply on Tuesday. As steel mills continue to cut production, iron ore demand continues to soften.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index lost $5.1/tonne on Tuesday to $81.12/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $6.6/t lower at $91.59/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index slumped $6.99/t to $69.83/dmt cfr.
