Iron ore inches lower, Westpac updates forecasts
Seaborne iron ore prices extended their declines on Tuesday. The latest iron ore price forecast from Westpac Bank meanwhile is sharply lower.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and KORE 65% Fe index lost by $1.55/t and $1.16/t to $98.35/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $113.16/dmt cfr, respectively. The KORE 58% Fe index, meanwhile, was $1.26/t lower at $85.6/dmt cfr.
