Iron ore holds firm with rising futures
Seaborne iron ore prices inched higher on Friday, on stronger futures, despite limited spot trading.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and KORE 65% Fe index rose by $0.18/t and $0.19/t respectively to $104.21/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $119.4/dmt cfr. The KORE 58% Fe index, meanwhile, was $0.32/t higher at $91.25/dmt cfr. No transactions were concluded on public platforms.
