Iron ore gains on firm raw materials prices
Seaborne iron ore prices started to rise on Tuesday led by the rebounding steel market, with steelmaking raw material prices remaining firm.
The Kallanish KORE 62% and 65% Fe indices rose by $0.6/tonne and $0.82/t respectively on Tuesday to $115.57/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $129.2/dmt cfr. Meanwhile, the KORE 58% Fe index lost $0.25/t to $101.12/dmt cfr.
