Iron ore gains on firm outlook
Seaborne iron ore prices jumped on Wednesday, with steady demand supporting the price climb.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $4.52/t on Wednesday to $113.87/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $4.46/t higher at $127.3/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index rose $3.11/t to $98.63/dmt cfr. 90,000t of JMBF fines were sold at a floating price with a laycan of 11-20 January 2023.
