Iron ore gains despite weaker futures market

Seaborne iron ore prices rose slightly on Tuesday, but iron ore futures weakened with the volatile steel market. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and KORE 65% Fe index rose respectively by $0.48/t and $0.4/t to $109.66/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $125.33/dmt cfr.
