Iron ore flat as Rio, Minmetals explore together
Seaborne iron ore prices were flat on Tuesday as continued buying balanced out the weak Chinese steel market. Rio Tinto and China Minmetals meanwhile agreed to collaborate on exploration, as miners are looking at how best to secure their positions for the coming years.
