Iron ore firms, Sino Iron reduces output

Seaborne iron ore prices increased slightly on Wednesday, but CITIC Pacific Mining announced a reduction in annual output from the Sino Iron magnetite project. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index gained $0.12/t and $0.16/t on Thursday to $128.79/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $141.85/dmt cfr respectively.
