Iron ore falls on production rumours
Seaborne iron ore prices extended losses on Tuesday amid rumours that Tangshan will rein in output.
The Kallanish KORE 62% and 65% Fe indices declined $1.02/tonne and $1.11/t respectively on Tuesday to $105.78/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $119.43/dmt cfr. Meanwhile, the KORE 58% Fe index reached $0.34/t lower at $96.67/dmt cfr.
