Iron ore falls on lower pig iron output

The seaborne iron ore market saw more losses last Friday, with a significant drop in hot metal production dragging down iron ore market performance. The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index dropped $2.82/t and $2.97/t respectively on Friday to $140.34/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $151.11/dmt cfr.
