Iron ore drops, miners release second-quarter results
Seaborne iron ore prices fell on Wednesday as the steel market retreated.
The Kallanish KORE 62% and 65% Fe indices declined by $0.54/tonne and $0.57/t respectively on Wednesday to $115.02/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $128.63/dmt cfr. Meanwhile, the KORE 58% Fe index lost $0.33/t to $100.79/dmt cfr.
